need a supplier for cedar strip (or similar)
« on: December 23, 2014, 08:59:05 pm »

Hi all, i plan to build a one metre (iom) class racing yacht from a plan, and need a supplier for cedar strip, or a similar wood with good qualities and a nice grain, 3mm thick, 10mm width and around 1.1 or 1.2 metre lengths.  Any ideas?

Chris......could consider getting some lengths of 10 mm thick cedar wall panelling & ripping your own planks  %)......only downside is the $600.00 required for that PROXXON baby table saw..... Derek

Chris,
You could try http://wood-supplies.com/  Although he doesn't list cedar, he has supplied me with woods which are unlisted at a reasonable price and cut to size.
