This is looking good, great job.

I don't want to sound stupid but will show my ignorance. On these brass etched parts which one can buy for the Italerie S Boat and for the Revelle type 7c do you have to solder these together? My thoughts are if I don't like the detail on my Engel type 7 do I get the brass etched parts for the 2cm gun and the 88 deck gun? While I have done lots of soldering on various builds especially when I did my 1/12 Severn Lifeboat. I have not used these brass etched parts which seem when assembled seem to be a mixture of brass and plastic.

Hi Robin,
I use Cyano Gell, not cheap but allows some adjustment if needed.

Finally got some mojo back & some of the medicals out of the way.

Got to be a little change in the control and shaft runs, as realised the hull would be too long to fit in the car.

I have broken it down into bow/centre/stern sections, that are fitted with powerful magnets recessed into the bulkheads.
Maybe not ideal, but I wanted to use what I had in my spares box without having to spend any cash.

I will post photo's when I have reduced their size to fit on the forum.

Carrying on with the mods to allow easy conveyance.
The central hull section hasn't been cemented together yet. This has allowed me to
separate them, to re-align the intermediate shafts linking the gearbox to the prop shafts.
As can be seen, I have had to lift the gearbox quite a lot.

On indefinite hold at the moment, busy moving house and lost momentum.
Two other builds also on hold.
1/72 corvette and 1/350 USS Enterprise CV65.

Finally got back on board this build.
Making some inroads with the WTC and fittings.

Back after a long spell of lack of mojo for this build.
I'll now continue until this is finished before moving on to my next build.
Vents opened and meshed (not scale) WTC now up and running and connected.
