Boiler size?

Hi can anyone help. I have a clinker built wooden hull and intend to fit a kingdon boiler but not sure what size would look best a 4"or 3" many thanks from newboy.

Well, that kinda depends on the size of the boat!  How big is it?  If you can post a piccie or two that would help.  And do you have an engine in mind?  Without some parameters it's difficult to give you any advice.  :-)

RGY...the Kingdon boiler is a newie from Mike Abbott  %) ...its a good looker :kiss: ...here is a thread from Bernhard and his assembly with the said boiler.......Derek

Goodness RGY......I too had never heard of a Kingdon boiler  :embarrassed: ...until I saw the modelsteam. thread.........even a Google search reveals little apart from a few images.......

Tep 46. With a number like that you have to be good.  No one has any suggestions so far. Here is my 2 penny worth. Always better to have to much steam, than to little.  If the boat will carry it use the larger.
 Derek my friend, never ask an old person how they are. My first grandson almost died in September, unable to breath, week in hospital but thankfully he is fine now. The wife has just had a big operation and maybe another in a couple of months. Me I fell of a ladder, could hardly move for three weeks in so much pain. ( what was a 73 year old doing up a ladder, I locked myself out).
