Knightcote Model Boat Club are hosting The Lifeboat Enthusiast Society Open Day on Saturday 16th May 2015 at 10:30am.

Lifeboat memorabilia related sales table and information available.

In the Monks Barn conference/meeting venue from 12:30 to 14:30 will be 2 guest speakers.
Speakers are Nicolas Leach on the subject "The RNLI Arun Lifeboats" and John Paine who owns an ex-lifeboat, The Rother - Harold Salvesen.
John will describe the life of an ex-lifeboat under the title "I did what?" i.e. buy a lifeboat.

Hot food and drinks (Baked Jacket Potatoes, Hot Soup, small choice of sandwiches & cakes) will be available for purchase.

Large free car park and free entry.  Just 5 minutes from junction 12 of the M40.  (Donations welcome).

If you have a model lifeboat or just an interest in the RNLI you will be most welcome.  The lake will be open for the use of model lifeboats only (sorry no I.C.).
