Plans for a Star Ferry
« on: March 27, 2015, 01:09:38 pm »

HI

I am thinking of trying to build a model of the Star Ferry in Hong Kong.
Does anyone know where I can get either full plans or at the very least some plans/drawings to help build the double ended hull that is used???

Many Thanks in advance

A 1/32 model of the ferry on the website would be around
40x10 inches or a metre long.

Hi Phil

Sorry no the picture was taken when I was passing by but I would say the the length was approx. 1m.

And a note to mu self, bring the SLR next time a Iphone is not good for catching those nice ships in the harbour.

Here is a nice side view of the day to day working ferry.  Was taken in 2012
