What an inspiring picture that last one was, a young person with a model built from bits and pieces, no high tech expense, just good, clean, cheap fun. Brings back very happy memories of boyhood modelling!

Could you tell us a little about the yachts, Martin, please?

Not bothered about the grey stuff.

I know that yachts are not Martin's speciality.
But if you check out the relevant boards, you will find most of what you could ever wish to know. :-))  Maybe a lot more. :-)

There is a more than a lifetimes worth of experience on these boards.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, then post a question and I am sure you will find out what you want. :-))

Thanks, tiger, I was just wondering which particular boats, hulls they were.  Especially the one with a LOT of strings on deck for what looks like a fairly standard Bermudian rig.

Perhaps the owners would like to identify themselves, but it looks like it might be JayDee's J Class

Hello Goldcupper,

Go to "Yachts and Sail" in this  Forum, details there about my J Class.
Also in the same section in "Schooner Sailing" about my Schooner Bluenose.

At the moment my website is off line - - the Server crashed and all of it has gone !.

John aka  JayDee.  :((

The J Class Endeavour WILL be at Wicksteed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good weekend you all!
It's lots of fun to see pictures of people :}
It would be even more fun to know their Mayhem aliases.
I am observing your fun from Finland and I have never met any of you.
Is it intentional to keep anonymous?

It seems that the weather has been kind this year - so far. Once again I'm feeling envious of all that are able to be at Wicksteed, but 20,000 km is a bit too far for a weekend away  for me  O0 . Enjoy yourselves.

BTW, great photos Martin, keep them coming
