Usually drill small holes in the deck and glue in with superglue, epoxy, etc.

Go the Forum home page, do a search for railings

Please be aware that drills leave  round  holes.  Most stanchions are flat material like my latest build.

A trick that I use is to heat the flat metal ones with an iron or blowlamp whilst held in pliers and when the temperature is just right, push them directly into the deck.  Works Ok with plastic or fibreglass as it melts the surface on it's own way in.  A bit harder with plywood decks, so you need a smaller start hole before the heated plunge.  When they are all in, you can then line them up to the correct height and run some fine superglue down the shaft,  but be careful for overspill.

Hope this helps
