Brilliant work Stan :-)) That mix of silver and black is pretty near the mark. Lovely job with the variations of green and looking forward to see the finished article. Don't tug too many hairs out stressig over the cam scheme, it was probably applied free had anyway based on a pattern drawn by a PO or Officer.

Lookin good:O)

Hi work stopped at the moment. Just made the pattern shapes for the hull sides. When they are dry will cut out and mark the shape on to masking tape.

HI guys I have now nearly finished the hull markings but there is some work to do on the transom. Holding this to mark out the other colours proved difficult. Two piece's of timber were screwed to the bench to rest the transom on  curtain hooks screwed into the bench then two elastic bands did the rest see pictures. Also some general shots enjoy. Sorry one of the pictures is out of focus

Still painting.  Seems to go on for ever. Just a few pictures showing the masking of small deck items. Even with a fine tip in my a/brush  I still need a large area to be masked off. On the stern hatch I have used 2in wide tape and shaped it like small box this allows me to be able to spray in all directions with no overspray. If you have in your area a quay plastics trade outlet I can recommend there masking tape for the large area work save the Tamiya for more detailed work

Check out this conversation. Three motors triple rudders no problems. Replace plastic parts with brass wire were possible.
