I have been thinking what would I like to see at Ellesmere Port; Well maybe a little Springer event would be fun? I always attend on the Saturday so if I am missing one on the Sunday I apologise. Anyway it's a great show and thank you to all the organisers.

Again two cross tugs coming in together not very often you see two fine models together. the IMG  1947&48 Ron from Canada told
  me that
he brought this tug in his suit case type of flat pack & Ray Malone that's the guy with him built it up at his place in South End so
he could bring it along to E/P

Again, brilliant photos and it really was a nice weekend, despite the weather putting some people off which is understandable.

I hope you all got home safely!  :-))

Hi all I would first like to thank everyone that came and supported this show once again clubs, traders and visitors alike without you there would be no show secondly I would like to thank the guys that helped setup and put away this year the lads from Runcorn again did a storming job and we still couldn't keep them warm on there stand sorry will sort it for next year lol the lads from Wallasey club for help packing up and not to forget Adam and my own club members for Manning the club stand and running the bring and buy you all deserve a pat on the back we put on a great show despite a few setbacks the weather, mothers day and the biggest being losing our main man Mr John Hughes I for one think he would be happy with the end result and call us nuts for doing it again lol

well done all

Hi Steve you are right John was missed over the weekend a loss to the hobby .All clubs have engine drivers and without them no events or shows would take place. The loss of any show or club event is not good for the hobby .I know from my work load at club level what is needed to to run a big event so thank you and your club for last weekend and long may it continue.

A model built over the weekend by Miss Elizabeth fielding aged - afraid that I'm to much of a gentleman to reveal that, of the Southport Model Boat Club.

Many thanks to everyone who visited the show, we try our best.  The number of traders is, we believe, right for the show. One can get nearly everything needed for the modeller. It would be nice to see maybe only a couple more but 14 traders would be enough. Regarding the signage I can only apologise for the lack of it. It was agreed at our last meeting with the Museum that they would attend to that but it did not happen. A program was also produced by the museum for previous shows by the museum. (Come back john Inch, all is forgiven)!!! We are always open to suggestions as to ways in which we could improve the show, we always try to do our best. Please remember we are only model boaters like you, not proffessional show organisers.

This has been passed on from Ellesmere Port Authority. They believe there is three people trying to get to Canada by giving a gift
to a person so he will take them back with him. The thing is it's not there gift to give, shame on them {-) {-) {-)

First time at the show as a member of ELLESMERE PORT MBC.  Very impressed with effort by members and members of other clubs to get the place organised despite clod, wind and sleet on Friday. As someone new to the hobby I was impressed with the helpful attitude of the traders and their tolerance of a technical idiot.  Had passing conversations with bods from Balne Moor, Wallasey, Runcorn and a few other places all of whom were great ambassadors for the hobby.  Hope to see you all at the Boat Museum in 2017.
