Well it is that time of year again The show is THIS WEEKEND!   :-)

 .......so First job of the Morning is to put up the signs for the show from both ends    YES it will be Properly signed as Ian has gone out and got me some !

Then the hard work of putting up all the tables and sorting all the clubs and traders,biggest revelation for me this year is that I wont be working on a trade stand so I can actually stop and talk to the clubs and traders and chill out till its time to break the show down.......looking fwd to meeting old friends and having the time to talk.

Show is open form 10am Sat and finishes at 4 ...Sunday is 10 till 3

Admission is £4.50 sat or sunday ...or a weekend pass for £8.....with children under 16 are free

        In the end managed to get the sub to the show thanks very much for your help with the trailer trying to keep it safe and thanks to your friend in the caravan next to it keeping his eye on it. Hope to see you at the show on Saturday .

I managed to get a friend to give me a lift to the show this morning.
He is not into model making but I think he enjoyed the visit.
There was a fine selection of modelling endeavour on display and "that" sub,well, what a beast!
I was able to purchase a few goodies for my tug build and also a complete Springer kit for the first of what is likely to become a fleet of five for my grandchildren.
If anyone is in two minds whether to go tomorrow, it is worth the effort. :-))

Hi All, just got home (4 hour journey) from a very enjoyable weekend at the show.

Just like to say a big thank you and very well done to Ian and Stavros for getting the show on.

Excellent show. I spent a fortune with the trade - they supported the show so I felt it was only my duty to support them after all. No, don't thank me, I did it out of pure charity and that's my excuse which I will stick to. Please send OBE's and other honours in the post... :-))

Seriously though, really enjoyable, freindly show. Looking forward to next year.
