Still clear at Goole Stan , although there was a little ice  this morning , i think we are in for a lot of cold nights over the next few months .
Nice to see you enjoying your selfs on the snow and doing some ice breaking, i loved it last year pushing big sheets of ice around the pond with the springers,
although the yachts were not impressed.

Well this morning after a cold start the sun came lifted the temperature and a pleasant mornings sailing was enjoyed by all members. I have just enclosed some pictures  of models seen this morning. The park is just now staring to turn and look good our sub member was on patrol again lurking just below the waves. The yacht  members did there best to sail but not much wind. Finally the geese are getting bigger at Wilton enjoy.

HI all just a few further pictures from last weekend. The weather was kind to us again fine sunny but I have a  feeling that this may all change this week. Dark nights cold and wet weather is almost here. Would it possible to have posts to show your projects for the winter months? Sorry for cropping the bow section in some pictures.

Just a few pictures showing our latest piece of kit. The club has purchased a yacht race timer and one very talented member was given the task of fitting it to a box to keep it clean and away from rain or other weather conditions. We intend to use the timer for yacht races club 500 events and some scale events.

That Rodney is a beauty of a kit, I'm looking forward to building my HMS Hood in the same scale. If I get the same quality as the modeller who built her I'll be very happy.

HI Guys some shots from last Sundays Club 500 event. Ten boats took part and it lived up to its name demolition derby. I have to say these events certainly get the attention of club members and the public in the park. More to follow. Pictures by kind permission of  a club  member

This morning at Kirklees was very windy along with showers and a moderate swell on the lake. The best place to be was under the waves so just a few picture s from this morning along with some surface craft enjoy.
