Hello,
Seek advice on what motors to use for a 1/50 tug.
Opted for Twin screw with steerable kort nozzles instead of schottles. prop diameter of 35 to 40mm.
Any advice would be helpful.
Cheers

I'm building the AHD tug from Mark's Model bits which has steerable Korts and 45mm props. The recommended motors are 12v 555s available from Component Shop (other suppliers are probably available.
Good luck with your build

I was worried the 6v graupner 400 would be too much but they get hellish warm. But the 12v motor would be significantly more power, want it to be kinda to scale.

Hi Blaven03, the 555 is a great motor and can easily run your propellers. It has been said before on this forum that you do not have to drive at full speed but it nice to be able to stop quickly.
Good luck,
Roy
