Hello.... New Boy here
« on: January 29, 2016, 10:23:28 am »

I have been a member of Ships Nostalgia for several years and have looked at you site many times so I thought it about time I joined you.
I have just completed a model of the RFA Wave Chief Oil tanker, which I was on in '61 I will try to get photos on site, but meanwhile I have a problem with the RC : You have many threads of tech. questions etc so I hope someone can advise me.

Last year I left the Saturn 2.4Ghz Trans/Controller out in the rain overnight, I got it working again OK. But this year after so many hours try to get it to work with the Viper ESC 10 and 15, I gave in and ordered a new one, awaiting delivery. Meanwhile try with analog Futaba controller , every thing OK except and pretty important part I can't go full astern, not very easy to drive car without reverse. Anybody any idea what I have done wrong, I think I have program it some how for the motor to go in one direction only or I have blown something. The servo works both ways, also have the motor has been changed several times.
Thanks Pete

Ships Nostalgia is a damn good reference site, I've been a member for about 4 years.
