Armidale class hazard markings
« on: May 06, 2016, 04:34:37 am »

I have decided that my H.M.A.S. Ararat needs some warning signs.
Does anyone have 'face on' photos of the gun and other warning signs that I can use to make decals, preferably with some indication of size and location?
I know that there are some yellow ones on the mast but there must be others around HT points etc.

Brian, I found a couple of Rad Haz signs that I was able to use on my Bundaberg, but the gun mount warning I think I made myself, as I didn't have the front on aspect.

Hi Peter
Thanks for those 2
Launceston seems to have something on the front portside door.   Hard hat area?

Anything like this Brian? If you Google "hazard signs" lots of sites come up, which you can download.

Thanks Peter
It is not a problem as I found an early photo (my time frame) of the Rat door but there is only a very small sign on it.
Health and safety may have been at work as the boats come in for service.
Now to try and make some decals as per posts on Mayhem although I might try and experiment with Becc white vinyl.

Started!
4 mm. to 7 mm. high but I might have to go smaller.   Danger signs are 4 and 2 pt.
Now to find my magnifying glasses and small tweezers. They are all on a 6" x 4" page. :o
