had the boat painted by the manufacturer and loved it 8) so decided to get my other models painted same colours, boat is carbon fibre, car/truck has been painted with cf effect, lights are also painted, not stickers :-)

Is the rally car an MCD by any chance?

I cannot see the mechanics but it looks like a current X5 chassis that is based on the latest V5 Race Runner buggy.

These are really good 4WD cars that I have worked with since the first chassis was being developed by Sinan Sunali when he came to the UK for some help with the original manufacture.

Nice paintwork by the way!!

When you want to end the quote you have to put in the  [/quote]  statement.

Hope this helps

The X5 performs the best with a four bolt G290RC engine and an MCD Barracuda tuned pipe and if you decide to race it in the UK you are still inside the 30cc legal limit.

For international racing the engine limit is lowered to 26cc and in this case the four bolt G270RC engine is the best choice  and again it is best paired with the Barracuda tuned pipe but the SAMBA pipe is another worthy option.

The X5 can also be made to drift beautifully and is a great sport in its own right  %%

this is a brushless conversion, along with my v4 cheetah and v4 buggy, my son has the xs5, that's being converted to brushless too, think the rally car is going to be pretty quick if I gen get traction and don't blow the tyres :-)
