My brother-in-law, an ex-pat Englishman from Wiltshire (many, many years ago, who now lives in Bundaberg, Queensland) and model engineer extraordinaire, is taking his model of a Saunderson and Mills tractor to the MEX. It is a fully working, completely scratch built model, and was featured in the British Model Engineer magazine some months ago. The Saunderson and Mills is quite a rare bird nowadays, but there is one example in a Museum in Geraldine, on the south island of New Zealand. On a visit there some years ago he was permitted to take large numbers of photos, and was also able to obtain drawings of the tractor, from which he was able to build the model. This took several years, but the finished article is a work of art. It will be interesting to see how he fares at the MEX.
Peter.
