   Hello everyone,
       Just a reminder to let you all know that the Woodvale show (Southport model boat clubs annual local event) takes place on June the 18th & 19th at Victoria Park, Rotten Row Southport. Our club organises the model boat marquee which with the help of other clubs from the area puts on an impressive display of different types of model boat ranging from Tugs to trawlers, lifeboats you name it. The show is well worth a visit with all kinds of different vehicles on show and a model railway marquee. If any clubs would like to attend and display boats in the marquee would you get in touch with me and I will pass on the details to our secretary.
     We are holding another Open/fun day on July 10th at our pond in Rotten row so feel free to come along, once again if you would like to put up a Gazebo and show boats please let me know so the I can inform the secretary.

Hello,

I was at the Woodvale Event with the Southport Club in their large marquee.
What a fantastic weekend !!, loads of laughs, real good food and drink, and lots of boats.
I displayed my schooner, Bluenose, which was expertly placed, very safely, on its stand, by the Club.
We had visitors in their hundreds, all weekend, lots of compliments for all of the models.
Then, to my complete surprise, I was presented with a rather large Trophy !!!!.
It is now on show in our house !!!!!!!!!!!.
