Can anyone help me, I am looking for decals for a 1.40 scale Waveney lifeboat. Will I have to make them myself or are there companies that produce them.?

The RNLI, according to their "Visual and Written guidelines" use 2 Fonts, primarily, DIN and Bliss2

Signs express reading or Oxford   0118 975 1155 reading 01235 811177 oxford, if they cannot do it (they can) phone Steve at Grantham branch on 01476 577422 as he does all my lifeboat transfers from 1:6 /1:72 just give him the size of everything you want and he can do them for you
1: numbers
2: lifeboat station
3: name of boat
4.lifeboat flags
Steve is very helpful, but he will need the actual size as a lot of my 1:12 scale lifeboats vary in size, and if you want white rnli  flag and red ensign flag mike also on 01476 573331 scale flags & ensigns all flags are hand painted on silk NOT PRINTED

these guidelines are from 2014 --->

Before that different fonts were used, and in many cases between different boats!

Think those fonts refer to branding and advertising
rather than actual Lifeboat logos and lettering.

I disagree Ned,  I think the typography and colour palette extend to the hardware as well.  But that's only my opinion. It looks like what they paint on the boat!

There are more than two fonts used on most
Vessels. Different size vessels, different sizes
but defo more than two fonts on the Pride of the Humber
when she was shopping in Grimsby last week.
