clevedon/cheddar valley boilers.
« on: August 11, 2016, 09:08:30 pm »

i've started to build a clevedon virgo steam plant. the chimney fits into an adaptor ring which fits into the top of the fire tube. although the instructions say that it is simply tapped in with a hammer and a bit of wood for protection, i felt that it was a bit big. i went old school and shrunk the adaptor ring, then tapped it in. simply put the item to shrink in the freezer for about 15 minutes. not the first time i've used this technique, but if there's not far to go it makes just enough difference.

Could you show some pictures of your new steam plant?
