Have you seen these things? Some amazing boats and fittings as well as working bow thrusters.
Even a "white gill" stearable thruster unit.

More boats and things added! Looks fantastic, a bit pricey though..
Everything seems to be well thought out and engineered.

I built a couple small boats for the kids to play with during a "Maker" event at the local Museum.
Both boats were six inches(152mm) long.  I like the shapeways prints, and may yet
buy the bow thruster,...

The table top pond was built up using 6mm Sintra/Keltex.
