What a magnificent pair of vessels.
Wouldn't they have been RMAS rather than RFA ?

Whoops! I notice thr RFA Ensign as opposed to the RMAS  ;D

Hell Ned when I built them the owners wanted to have them looking different from the gray navy jobs so I painted them in yard craft colours , I don't think the Growler ever was buff and black, but they look different in those colours.they catch the eye more.  Geo

Yeah Geo,
They would have been RFA
Think RMAS was a newby in the 70's.
The colour scheme of the old PAS
is a hell of a lot better than grey.
