Via email to Mayhem...THE INTERNATIONAL MODEL BOAT SHOW 2017Visit the only 3 day marine modelling exhibition in the UK.We are pleased to announce that the 2017 International Model Boat Show will be returning from Friday 10th – Sunday 12th November to the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.
The show will as usual provide visitors with a packed exhibition hall with over 600 fantastic models from over 25 club and society displays. The excellent and varied display of models from early warships to modern power boats and ships will be complemented by action on the large indoor boating pool.
This year will also see the development of the show with the introduction of a Tamiya Truckin display arena. This will integrate a very closely linked hobby to the core model boat show, and also introduce a new selection of exhibitors and interests.
In addition to all the boating action, the Tamiya Truckin team will be demonstrating and driving their 1/14 scale radio controlled models on a roadway system over 80 metres square. This fantastic arena will feature radio controlled 1/14 scale trucks, plant and machinery.
The competition for the “The Marine Modelling International Society Shield for Best Society/Club Display” is already heating up as King Lear Model Boat Club are working to retain the title for a 2nd year!
Over twenty specialist suppliers will also be present offering visitors everything they could need for their boat builds and other modelling needs.
