Planet T5 problem
« on: October 29, 2016, 05:12:12 pm »

My Planet T5 Shows Battery at 5.5, but the red light at the bottom left of the transmitter is not lit up.Rainwater may have got inside the case during a rainstorm to cause the problem. Can the tranny be repaired, if so any suggestions.

Remove the batteries open it up as much as possible and leave it somewhere with gentle heat - the airing cupboard if you have one. Leave it a few days before trying again.

You could also try putting an amount of dry rice in the open TX case as well to absorb moisture

Both these suggestions with the battery out, of course.
