Hi all well as some light relief I'm going to build this, obviously me being me it will look nothing like the box art and will be built as relief from my other builds as and when I feel the need for a break, so build progress will be sporadic, trust me though I don't think it will be recognised as what it is when finished.

Hi all well I've weathered the engine and swing arm, I'm quite pleased with it as I've not done desert weathering before, needs a bit more depth but I think it's a good starting place.

My first thoughts were that you were continuing your batman theme as per the ship, but then wondered at the topic title and then considered the dirt on the forks and now think you might be doing a motorbike from the Mad Max franchaise of films. They certainly occur in three out of the four films (I cannot remember them in Beyond Thunderdome) in important plot sequences.

The question then becomes which bike and which film? There are Four famous bikes in MM1, that of Toe Cutter, his two main sidekicks and then the policeman 'Goose'. In MM2 there is really only the one used by WEZ. In Fury Road Motorbikes are used by Immortan Joe's army and also the 'Many Mothers'.

I am intrigued:O)

Hi all started the frame.
I really do love these kits.

It's not going to be a specific bike just a mad max type that could have been in the film (who's to say it wasnt)

Go for it! You can pimp it to your hearts content. The frames on these larger kits are brilliant for detail. I bought one years back for a job reference and it was pretty accurate for small parts if I recall.

Humbroll sand coloured paint (don't know the number) few drips in a bottle sprinkle talcum powder in it stir it round fill with white spirit good old stir and shake then liberally brush on the tank and let it run where it wants.

Hi all here is the next bit, done the front forks, can't decide whether to use the headlight fairing or not, if I do i will add more spikes to it, what do you think fairing or not

Weather it up and it will look the part. Perhaps (If not too late) pop the lense off and make a bulb holder and reflector to go in the hole! I cannot imagine the lense would last too long in those conditions especially if in combat:O)

I love the effects you are getting with your dust techniques.
