3D PRINTED 1/1 M41A PULSE RIFLE
« on: November 01, 2016, 09:21:57 pm »

My lad got a 3D printed version of the pulse rifle from the film Aliens.

It wasn't the best fit despite jiggling, filling, sanding and shaping  >:-o

I was also going smooth the plastic layers with a Acetone wash but he didn't want me to make a mess of it-just in case it did go wrong  %)

Anyway, four coats of primer, two of satin black, then the green and finally the weathering, just got the LED ammo counter to do.

I think the layers add to it, how big is it size wise it looks huge, nice to see you've not lost your touch.

It is 1/1 or supposed to be, I think it is actually slightly bigger Ken.

Thanks Ken, glad you like it mate.
