if you resize them below the limits you can post them direct, after you have written the post in quick post, click the preview, then you can see the page where you can attach them just under your post. just click the choose file and you should be able to select the file from your machine and post it

Hello Dave.

For what it's worth..probably not a lot.. I use an oldish Microsoft thingy I picked up at PC World about 10 years ago, saw it on the shelf whilst looking for a pair of desk speakers in the shop, got the speakers, creative make , still have them on my desk work fine even now, £30 if I remember.

Saw this MIcrosoft Digital Image Suite box also £30, so i bought it, it fairly good for the price, I can resize -  crop - adjust all the elements in my photo's with ease, even I can understand most of it !!! ideal size for the forum is I find 800 x 600 or 600 x480, I think...I can resize to any size I like to get the KB down to acceptable numbers to post on the forum, If you like I could give some examples of my photo's which the forum will accept..under 300kb at present, ...diferent sizes and the various changes I can make to one photo.

Might take a while to cogaqnize and sort but I will if you feel it would be of any use to you?

Let me know.

Cheers

John.

there is an image resizer that works from a right click on the file or group of files- it was brought out with XP power tools, still works on my windows 10 machine, I just resize to medium and it seems to work everywhere that has image size restrictions.

Like power sockets, you cannot have enough of those wall mountable bins! I did work for a company who was drastically reducing their stock and so had a small garage sized area full of empty Linbins. They offered me as many as I wanted but just took eight, and have kicked myself for not having taken as many as my car would hold safely ever since.

Your bench looks good Dave, and has the beginnings of a lot of storage space. The squared edge is a good idea as well. I hope to build a bench in coming months and would use squared edge worktop.

my company were disposing of out of date jointing resin kits, these come with a resin that is mixed with very dry sand, and came in tubs, approximately A4 size and about 3" deep, there were also buckets that held 10 litres of the same stuff.
I must have had about 50 or so of the big buckets, and several hundred of the smaller tubs, great for storage, I still have about 4 stacks of the tubs nested inside each other and about 4 foot high, all sitting in the garden, waiting to be used, with the lids on they stack well and are used for storing a lot of things here. tools, fixings, model bits, china, you name it we have it stored in tubs.

Round the corner on your bench unless you wear a hip guard.  <*< <*< <:( <:(

Bench's can never be too wide for when you need to push all the clutter etc, to the back to make space for the current project.

Well, my oldest son has found himself another flat and is in the process of moving out. So as per my earlier posts on the subject I shall soon be able to make some room in the spare bedroom for model boat making at last.

I shall set up a work area and get myself that scroll saw I've been promising myself.

Bench's can never be too wide...

Unless you have a narrow workshop.  {:-{
I have a narrow workshop, with a narrower than standard woodworking bench. This allows me more room to swing the cat, and to fit other machines in.
