Hopeful farmers?
« on: January 12, 2017, 06:09:28 pm »

For a couple of weeks after Hurricane Bonnie drenched the Eastern seaboard of the USA last year, farmers had to spread great stacks of alfalfa and other grass out in the fields to dry. Some of them prayed for the weather not to be cloudy, so the feed their livestock will need this winter would be dry and healthy, not mouldy.

Actually, they prayed for the fodder, in the sun, on the whole East Coast.

Is it possible that the Ark was the only ship on which the builder never considered floodlights necessary?  Discuss.  {-)

Quote; The Greek name, Tyropoion Valley, is the genitive plural of tyropoios, from tyros, “cheese”, and poieo, “make;” the translation as “Valley of the Cheesemakers” is uncontroversial. Cheese makers -- or any manufacturers of dairy products -- who toil in the very heart of the holy city must surely have been blessed.
