There is a long story behind how I got my hull from Kim.
I bought the hull only

As of yet I don't have drawings and I haven't started it,
It will be a while before I start it.

I am just going through all the details myself now.

Prices ect .

Noticed some of the images on the net show no rear deck crane I guess this is removable.

Or some sort of removable dock crane.

I never made it so there was no way it could have just fallen off  :embarrassed:

The hull lines look similar to my stril barents - even the colour of it is my final colour! Shame I destroyed the moulds I could have made some cash, but I thought there was only me around here with an interest on offshore craft ok2

Keep up the good work Kim :} I'll mention it to Aimee as she wanted a hull from my moulds but it was too late, I'd cut them up and dropped them in a skip. The similarity between the Stril and the Skandi ships I think is because they come from the same builder - Vard. In my case the yard designation was 1-06. If your hull is the skandi skansen the yard number was AH 04

Thanks Brian,
I know there are a few offshore guys about, but probably shy to post their work..... cause those European guys just make near perfection look far to easy!

Regards,
Kim

PS Sonar .. your motor details are on my website or an email away.

Due to camera issues I did not get a photo of Rem Gambler at Dortmund , it was built by a Russian guy out of all the boats I think that one was of the best in show . It had twin variable pitch props  . Did any one get a picture ..

Batfish the link to the Skandi models you posted, built by Hans Dorp. He is an absolute monster not only with his builds but the rate at which he can also build them! He does have a facebook and a website of his own by the way.

Here's a link to a 120 pages of offshore vessels with around 20 photos per page.

http://www.captainsvoyage-forum.com/forum/windjammer-bar-maritime-interest/general-maritime-interrest-from-cruise-to-the-mercantile-marine-and-all-ships-between/428-world-s-offshore-vessels

If you get sick of looking at them just click through to the main page and there are photo categories of every type of ship known to man!
