I haven't posted much yet,
However I have spent time reading and learning. As someone said in a post, that some times a question is not required as a lot of information is already on this forum and i have found this to be true.
I just enjoy browsing and imbibing the knowledge these pages contain.
I do like to try to work out an answer before asking. but, i am a firm believer in the adage "there are no stupid questions" because if you don't know then, you don't know, and one simple wrong decision could prove very costly in either time or money.
I spent 33 years as a maintenance electrician in the paint shop of a vehicle manufacturer here in Birmingham including a four year apprenticeship. So i do have some experience when it comes to using tools,making/ fabricating things and trying to repair things. But, it is impossible to know everything or know the best, easiest way of doing things. I never cease to be amazed by some of the inginuity shown on this forum as there are many years worth of experience in these posts. if this was compiled into a book, now there's a thought. Ha ha. but there again sometimes one question will attract many different answers proving sometimes that there are no wrong or right answers, just different prefferd methods.
