Getting back to Railroad Modelling.

Just thought I'd share a new acquisition in the Z gauge Railroading line.  It's a General Motors "Aerotrain".  The model is in Z scale (1/220th) which makes the loco about 75mm long.  The next step is to motorise it.

That looks like someone has grafted a 60's American car onto the top of the loco - I love it!

That looks like someone has grafted a 60's American car onto the top of the loco - I love it!

That's basically what happened, GM decided to build a train so they used a modified bus for the coaches and got their car designers to design the loco.
