  What appear to be multiple parachute flares over the Otterburn ranges. Any clues, anyone?

  I thought things like starshell and Snowflake had gone out with the advance of night vision kit. Not so, it seems, there are even black light flares (oxymoron?) to enhance infra-red viewing.
