Is this the one you mean? I know the pic is a bit small, but I've probably got the original somewhere.

Guy Bagley:
yes i believe it is... the boat was developed by lochin marine and comissioned by dorset police originally,so the image you show i think is how the boat was when under the dorset police force...i have seen this image before ( i am also building off the kingston mouldings hull too)

it was the subsequently sold to the metropolitan police marine support unit in 1995, and based out of wapping police station.....it was then it became thames alarm III- its this vessel i am searching for !- the met police vessel...

but the met police made alot of changes to the vessel  and they also re -engined the boat too, i have some pictures- but they are just not that good, boat its along way off  in the pictures and i could do with some close ups.... i am trying to spot the changes that were made to the boat as it went  into service with the met police...

i have contacted the met, and wapping marine support unit  musuem but to little or no avail !- i have contacted several people who make their living on the thames to see if the happen to have images but again i have drawn a blank....

 hence this request !!!

the graphics and police livery totally changed, the life rings became yellow horse shoe types, the life raft cannister was changed and moved its new location and mountings, the cabin roof lights were also changed and fully glazed, the wapping lot said  the boat had some of its 'salt water' items changed for equipment better suited to the thames...  but what  was changed, ????

oh well will keep hunting and surfing the net !

Guy Bagley:
here is one poor picture of what i think i am looking for !!!
