being a novice i started with the easy bits. main cab etc,, with the aid of a box of 100 plasters. and stanley knife, the rear   of back cabin was broken and boiler house roof was missing so  made a new ones from scrap wood primmed it all,i thought the boiler house looked a bit plain so attached  some (kiddies bejulled dimonds) to look like  rivets

back to the hull  i had to find the waterline, so i did the bath thing and was shocked at how much lead shot and sheeting it took to weigh her down so decided to  reinforce her with fiberglass sheeting

oh forgot to put her size..shes 32 inches by 8 /half  the company that made her was R.M MARNE.. the mast was missing so used a old recycled joffrey one i had laying around...so next its the deck and wooden (dark stain) planking , personally i would of just painted her gray so im being a good boy and sticking to plan to be continued. not bad for someone who's had a stroke %%

You are doing great Mr Ferry. The model is coing along so well and it shows that an illness or affliction does not always mean having to give up. Adapt and proceed  :-)) The rivet detail on the superstructure is good.

looking very much like Vic Smeed's Guardsman 1920 customs launch I doubled up his plans and came out with a model 45" long X 13" wide powered by a 12 volt Volvo car aerial motor. Yours Scout
