X-Bow Hull
« on: March 29, 2017, 12:58:02 pm »

I have decided to have a go at making an X-Bow hull, its going to be a slow process as i am working with out plans.
she is going to be 61ins long with a 15in beam gave or take an inch LOL
heres the first photo as you can see the stern end needs a bit of work yet, but the basic shape is there.

Thanks Kim, but unfortunately i will not be able to make Coalvile show. i have used your frames on an earlier project  they are very good, the hull I built was the Cragsider. Unfortunately my mate Peter got the frames made to 1/24 scale and after making the plug she was a monster LOL I think she would have been better made at 1/32. Thanks again for the offer ( I might take you up on your offer if i hit problems  LOL)

Here are a few photos of the frames that Kim supplied for my Cragsider build. as you can see she turned out a nice hull but you need a crane to carry her
