Hi Brian,
You really are getting the hang of this model boat building {-)

That is a nice bit of engineering and model making.

Kim

Thanks lads this is the latest from yesterday, the next stage will be to gave her a thin coat of easy sand and then the long process of sanding to remove any marks.

hi ya Brian

which lake are you going to sail this in - cos if you are going to sail it in Tynemouth's lake there wont be any room left for anyone else to sail their models :-) you will only be able to go up and down the water a few feet :-) and you will be knackered if you want to turn it round.   Unless you want to sail it between the piers - there aren't many ships in the Tyne now - so you could do that.

Cracking build this mate.

I like the way you have done the hull.

We will make you into a builder yet :-)  %% %% %% %% %% %% %% %% %%

:-)) Hi John, its been a while since we last had a talk if my memory serves me well it must have been at Temple Park in I think 2011. hope you are keeping OK as you were quite poorly the last time we met. I don't go to the lake at Tynemouth now and haven't sailed a model since 2012, but i am slowly getting back into building again, to be honest thats the side i get more enjoyment out of.
Pleased you like the hull its certainly different, I don't think she will have a problem sailing between the piers  :-))

Brian

Hi Howard packed in the models a while ago due to problems with my fingers, I think it was with trying to make small fittings. no problems at the moment so decided to have a go just to keep my hand in. ( in a small way LOL )

I hope you havn't got white finger Brian as my Auntie has it and can only knit for a few minutes at a time which is frustrating.

Pace yourself and you will soon be finished and sailing around like a skipper.

Thats the filling and sanding done over the last two days, the next stage will be to get some paint onto the plug this will show any defects that need to be put right before the mould is made.

The bridge is going to look so good especially if you intend to fit out the interior.
