Have any of the N Wales lads /lasses tried using the Marine Lake in Rhyl for model boating .I don't know the legality etc but it could be handy

Yes, but it's salt water so your boat will need a wash down afterwards. Why not come along to the Colwyn Bay Model Boat Club.
