Stabiliser Beam / Arm
« on: April 16, 2017, 03:22:03 am »

Aye!

I'm going to start on the Nordkap soon. This has a single mast with one arm fixed toward the wheelhouse. I'd like to replace the whole assembly with a duel mast with a set of stabiliser booms or arms that I can extend or stand back up in place. The finished product would resemble the mast and Stabilisers on the Andrea Gail. I've  searched and searched. I can't find a site that offers such a part. Aside from making up my own, are their any suggestions?

Thanks

For a bit of inspiration, have a look at this build log, page 21-reply no.503 www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,45601.500.html by MissyD (Danielle)

Also might be worth having a read of this one www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,28028.0.html by Bluebird

Ray.
