Seacat & Seaslug: launchers and directors?
« on: May 11, 2017, 10:28:58 am »

I'm trying to track down detailed dimensioned/scale/blueprint drawings of the launchers for Seacat and Seaslug GWS, if anyone out there can help? I'm looking for much larger scale with more detail than that in the Jecobin plans, for instance.

I'm also looking for the same regarding the various Seacat directors, i.e. GWS-20, -21 & -22.

Many thanks

Andy

Indeed, and lots more besides too!

He must have got his from somewhere though...

So far I've drawn a blank (double pun!  {-) ) at both Explosion! and the Collingwood Collection.

It might be worth talking to the guys at Scalewarship who did a 1/72nd Seaslug

That is a good call too!

BTW, I got a reply from BAE Systems Heritage, saying:

"Unfortunately by order of the Board of Directors, we are unable to supply any form of technical drawings of predecessor company products due to wide-ranging liability issues"

It shouldn't, but that sorta thing really gets me down  :((
