Hi all, did anyone notice that the last edition was number 800? 
Well done to all the editors for giving us such a treat over the years. I remember buying my first Model Maker magazine at 2 shillings in the 1950s, but by then I was already hooked on model boats.

There was a thread on Mahem back in 2007 listing all the free plans against magazine dates, has this been updated since?  I think it came from admin.

I also noticed the 800th edition. The numbering system has a couple of anomalies - 1951 has 13 issues, as when the magazine started in December 1950 this first edition was added to the 1951 numbers. In 1959 the July number was omitted as the magazine wasn't printed due to industrial action at the printers.

Hi, it is diffficult keeping (hoarding) them as I ran out of room in a 4 tier Metal filing cabinet.  I do have Classic Boat from issue 9 until about 12 months ago if anyone wants them. 
I gave away my Radio Control Model boats, complete, a while back.  I also have International Marine Modelling until 2015. 
Now and again I dig out a couple of years of magazines and idle through them, it is the adverts that draw one's attention and the fact that standards have moved up and on enormously.

The second part of the original post asked if anyone had updated the plans MB contents file since 2007.

Probably not but I have something similar which is just missing 2017, I could put out there.
