King Lear Model Boat Club would like to invite model Lifeboaters to the East Midlands Lifeboat Day on Sunday 18th June 2017, starting at around 10:00am at Watermead Country Park North, Wanlip, Leicestershire, LE7 1PD.

All Lifeboaters are welcome for an informal and friendly event where like minded owners of model Lifeboats can get together so bring a boat and have a sail.

There are toilet facilities in the Country Park.  We hope to provide food and hot drinks on the day as there are no catering facilities in the park.

There are however two pubs within two miles of the Country park where ‘pub grub’ is available.

To all model "Lifeboaters"
KING LEAR MODEL BOAT CLUB will be hosting "LIFEBOAT DAY"
it is at Watermead Pk, Wanlip , Leicestershire on the 18th June 2017 from 9.30 ish - 14.30, the lake us approx 1 mile in circumstance, and about 12ft  deep, you can sail lifeboats on the water,it caters for all aspects of model boating,you have to pay £2.50 per vehicle to enter the park,hope to see lots of people on the day.
