Hello from Somerset
« on: July 16, 2017, 01:49:22 pm »

Hi, just joined the forum. Now retired (well sort of) after a lifetime in engineering and can indulge in my various interests. Currently building a Amati Riva Aguarama kit for static display having reached second planking stage. I also build Steam engines and are currently adding a feed pump and reversing gear to a recently completed Stuart D10 which one day may find its way into a suitable boat. This forum would appear to be the ideal place to provide the necessary encouragement and advice to help with that aspiration.

Cheers

Ian

Hello to you all and thank you for the welcome.

I intend to post some photos, byway of sharing my efforts to date. In the meantime been looking a old threads in the Steam Section and there is certainly some useful information from some very experienced modellers.

Regards

Ian
