Looking for Ferry information and plans
« on: July 16, 2017, 10:28:15 pm »

Hi all,

Need some help with gathering any information on Travemünde 1971 ferry

Built by

Schiffbau-Gesellschaft Unterweser A.G., Bremerhaven, Germany (#478)

I'm looking for plans/Drawings or possibly a Grp hull that resembles her

Regards

Adam

be handy if you had some photos to put up, and then people would know what you are looking for.

No plans or hulls that I know of for this vessel - sorry.
Have you had a look at the HHV site?  There are a number of GA drawings there...

Thanks very much Carl.
She was a good sea boat....
I had the pleasure of being aboard a few times from Aberdeen to Lerwick.

The worst crossing was a bad 9
And the ex and I had to sleep on the same bunk
As both bunks kept trying to slam shut.
Great fun...

Thanks all.
I've sent a message to the museum and we shall see what they say.
I'll hang fire on sending the original company an email until i hear from the museum.

Many thanks

Sadly no joy with the museum.
I've ordered plans for
St Columba and Vortigern
Did anyone ever produce a Grp hull for any of these models?

Kinda thought the museum would be a no no as  she has changed her name a lot As an alternative try Bill  Wood Aberdeen he makes hulls but maybe not for liners

I'll p.m. his phone number
