Component Shop service
« on: July 20, 2017, 05:34:07 pm »

At 1.30pm yesterday I ordered some servos and a power distribution board from Iain at Component shop, I was amazed when the Postie knocked at 12.20pm with a signed for parcel containing the above!
Now how's that for service? Thanks everyone at Component shop keep up the good work.
             Cheers, Pete. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Hi. Where's  china?. I always prefer to shop in Wales, service, and more important genuine support on any item you want to buy, this supercedes any cheap prices, because of where I live, I largely have to use the internet so I like to think I am helping to keep the money at home. HowardQ. :-))

I don't think Components shop electronics are sourced from China. They make them in the UK.

Some are some aren't but they're all guaranteed and after sales is top notch. Certainly batteries are from China as is my Iphone. Chinese does not mean rubbish but certainly some products are poor or even fake. Buying from CS is trouble free :-))

China can be hit and miss. I bought some 12v LEDs via Ebay but they weren't really 12v ones, just standard ones with a resistor soldered into one of the tail wires - probably by some kid or girl paid a pittance.

With CS you are getting quality control and after sales service and I'm happy to pay a bit more for that.

True to say the service from Component Shop is brilliant, its just a shame that the same cannot be said of Royal Mail when it comes to delivering the goods.
