Radio Link R7 receivers

I have just bought 2 Radiolink R7EH-S Rx to equip a couple of models. (From Howes, arrived about 20 hrs from emailing order!) The destructions say the signal can be changed from normal PWM (I think this stands for Pulse Width Modulation, though that's all I know!) to S-BUS or PPM. Is this anything I need to know about, or can I just match them to my T4U RX and forget the fancy stuff?
