Shannon Plans

Hi,
Just wondering if anybody happens to know a source of Shannon plans while the RNLI's shop is out of action?
Thanks in advance.

unless Andy Grigg is reproducing plans from original first editions that might have been acquired from other means, there are none available.

my friend asked about them at the Fleetwood station, about a week ago and even they, who have had their boat for a year now haven't had any issued. and the reason the RNLI give is, that with each boat produced there are still minor changes  going on and so won't release till the final configuration is done, and the plans signed off.

well, you know as anyone on here spongie, being as close to the RNLI as is..........that is what the Kremlin is saying........believe it or not, and that is from the mechanic of Fleetwood lifeboat who hasn't got a set, even GA's for 13-14 as yet.

it's probably more close to the truth that they don't want their designs of the boat nicking from them by such as out little oriental friends far to the east.

Thanks for the replies... I'm sure the RNLI were selling them at one point but I was obviously a bit slow off the mark!

To be honest, a good photograph of a set of plans would probably do the trick for my skill level on the off chance anyone has one?!
