newbie with fairley swordman

hi all just got my first boat after yrs of  thinking about it , a used fairley swordman  just finished repaintiing the hull top needs a bit of tlc but will get around to that later  came with 2 battery packs and a charger but no transmitter or receiver  bought 1 and waiting for it to come  just joined a local club  , cant wait to get it on the water

Ideal first boat the swordsman , take no end of punishment , what motors / batteries are you using ?

Be careful going astern, as the stern digs in and water can come over the top of the transom.

Welcome nutrunner.

Always nice to see a post about a Fairey boat being a big fan of those lovely boats. I'm a relative newbie and have a Huntress and Huntsman and am going to start building my first boat this winter, a Swordsman.

What size is your boat and some photos would be good to see at some point.
