6 volt water pump?
« on: July 30, 2017, 08:51:17 pm »

Can anyone here suggest a supplier of a 6 volt water pump that I can install in a Springer tug that I am buillding for my 7 year old great grandson.
I think he would enjoy having a water cannon on the tug.

Hi.
I've just received one of these , two weeks from H.K. £1.77 Inc postage. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RS-360-Mini-Motor-Water-Pumping-Reversible-Gear-Pump-Spray-Priming-Aquarium/322519655388?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Works perfectly and is also self priming. 4 to 12v.
No need to prime or submerge it.
Mike.

Thank you Mike and Martin for the suggestions on a water pump. I think I'll try to find the RS-360 here in the US.

Thanks much, Tom
