Had a good day there picking up some additional plywood, a bigger Permagrit and some other bits and pieces for my upcoming build.

Picked up a scroll saw yesterday (currently in a big box in the dining room much to my wife's annoyance, well only a bit) so I might even make a start this weekend!

This was my second year at the show and I was motivated and depressed again!

Only had a quick visit to the show this year to try and pick up a few bits and pieces. I thought the trade support was slightly down on previous years but the number of models displayed was if anything up and many were built to a high standard. The addition of the trucks was a good idea. Being a keen lifeboat supporter I found the models on the LBES stand was very impressive, I particularly liked the Tyne. Didn't stop long as afterwards I paid a visit to Speedline to collect my Shannon kit.  :-)

Thank you for the pictures Martin.  Lovely selection of craft.   :-))

How about a movie of the hall with the 'exhibitors stands' for those of us that can't be there.   :-))

Cheers

The vid's 2 & 3 were great (in slow mo?) the large scale MTB rode the waves well , the smaller scales over bobbed unfortunately ,  good models all the same . . .

The smaller scales did bob around a lot, but to be fair the water got quite choppy even though only due to the models and the waves/swell were multi-directional with them bouncing off the sides of the pool which you wouldn't get on a lake.

The smaller craft coped better with the water at higher speeds but due to the number of craft on the water sometimes they couldn't be unleashed very often!
