Looks a great day, so when's the next one? I need to book early as holiday dates need to be in by January 1st! I'll have queries about my new project (next but one on a long list).

Many thanks to Ron, his crew, and of course the Pirates for a very enjoyable visit yesterday.
It is always a pleasure to meet and talk with so many enthusiasts, and see their wonderful creations.
I bought the four props and shafts for my split hulled monster.

Nick:  That ultra low fly past by the Lancaster was specially arranged by the Memorial Squadron in appreciation of your valiant attempt to join their ground crew.  Obviously they felt as miffed at you not being allowed to transfer as the rest of us.

Well, my first time staying at Deans campsite. I visited last year for the day and this year the whole weekend. Ron is a brilliant host, from arriving to leaving Ron was there with stories and anecdotes, making sure everything was ok. Had been warned about the Deans Queens, who were wife, daughters and nieces......never turn your back on them. Friday was quiet as people arrived friday evening was fun.....being drawn and tattoed on by the queens......sorry about my surprise skin that nothing adheres to! Saturday was busy with sailing going on etc. There are pics above of the pirates! Saturdays BBQ was fun with plenty of food and a few drinkies. Fun and frolics were had, and carried on after i retired to bed. Sunday we heard that a certain mayhem member was perched in the eves of Rons garage pretending to be an owl before his taxi turned up. Also there was a ptiched battle between the pirates. Not to mention 2 people in Ron's boat pond on a lilo and a blow up boat. Sundau was very quiet and we all helped pack away the gazebos used over the weekend. Thoroughly enjoyable
Cannot thank all the Deans enough for making me welcome.
A big thanks to Carl and Flo, Steve and Nick as well for everything as well. To all who attended and i spoke to a big thanks. Will be booking  :-)  in next year.

Thanks Ron for sharing. The weather was much the same as it was over here in Germany <:( At least you could demonstrate that a puddle is sufficient for a compact kit model {-)

Cheers
