run 2 servo's on 1 bec lead
« on: September 28, 2017, 04:28:54 pm »

Is it OK to run 2 servo's from 1 bec lead.   I have two water cannons on fire boat and want to run them in tandem. The servo's will be aiming the cannons.

Provided the BEC can handle the load, yes.  Considering what else might be powered from the same source, most BECs will be OK, more modern UBECs can supply a heavier load.  Most servos you can guess at wanting to pull about 0.5 amps each max.  Is it the same BEC supplying the receiver?

Its only the same as the aero boys having 2 aileron servos paired, just make sure that nothing is binding adding to the loaded servos
